For cold therapy, freeze the gel pack for at least two hours. For heat, microwave it in 10-second intervals until desired warmth is reached, ensuring even distribution of heat before application.

You can tell this isn't a cheap, flimsy product. The seams are strong and the fleece pouch is well-stitched. It's been in and out of my freezer and microwave dozens of times and still looks new. Provides great soothing comfort.

It provides good relief for my shoulder pain, both hot and cold. My only minor issue is that I wish it was a little larger to cover more of my back at once. For a knee or elbow it's the perfect size, though.
